Challenge

For his producer album, Genco Arı wanted a cover design that would spark curiosity and stand out in a saturated music landscape. It had to carry his name and presence—but in a way that felt unexpected, artistic, and true to his multifaceted identity as both a musician and a creative architect behind sound.

Goal

Instead of using a traditional photo-based portrait, we chose to illustrate him—literally.

The hand-drawn rendering captured not only Genco’s features, but his energy: abstract, expressive, and slightly surreal. This visual anchor became the core of the album’s visual identity, extended into launch event materials such as posters, venue dressings, and digital graphics, creating a unified yet lively experience.

Result

The illustrated cover resonated strongly with both the artist and his audience. It set a tone that was bold yet personal, playful yet polished—much like Genco Arı’s music itself. The design didn’t just introduce an album; it introduced a vision.
