Challenge

Rum Inn is a small, character-rich boutique hotel in Cappadocia—a region shaped by soft volcanic stone, centuries of architecture, and a sense of stillness you can almost hear.

The challenge was to create a logo that didn’t just name the place, but reflected its unique rhythm: arched doorways, cut-stone textures, intimate courtyards, and layered history.

Goal

The solution came through form. The letterforms of “INN” were reimagined as a set of stylized arches, evoking Cappadocia’s distinct architectural language.

The composition echoes local doorways opening into private stone courtyards—welcoming, quiet, and slightly mysterious. Typography was chosen to feel both clean and rooted, isn’t decorative—it’s spatial. 

Result

The final identity gave Rum Inn a voice that felt grounded, poetic, and unmistakably local. It became more than a mark—it became part of the space itself, blending graphic design with architectural memory.
